Samuel Burndam

Samuel Burndam is an experienced mining professional currently serving as Unit Manager - Mining at Gold Fields Ghana since October 2017. With a career at Gold Fields Ghana Limited that began in April 2011, Samuel Burndam has held various positions including Shift Superintendent - Production and Mining Engineer - Production, overseeing daily mining operations and ensuring safety and efficiency. Additionally, Samuel Burndam has acted as Shift Superintendent, managing production shifts to meet targets exceeding 200,000 tons. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mining and Management from South Dakota Mines, expected to be completed in July 2024, and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, obtained in 2009.
