Theresa Kinkelaar

Theresa Kinkelaar, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a comprehensive and diverse work experience in various roles within the fields of human resources, training, and management. Theresa began their career in 1994 as a District Manager at Kyoto Bowl and later transitioned to Brinker International, where they served as a Training Director, responsible for training numerous managers. Following this, they joined Sticky Fingers Restaurants as the Training Director before being promoted to the role of Director of HR & Development. In 2009, Theresa joined Chili's as a General Manager, overseeing all aspects of business operations. Theresa then joined Military Credit Services in 2011 as the Director of HR and Development. In their most recent role as Director of Human Resources at Gold Key | PHR, Theresa worked as a partner between corporate management and property leadership to ensure strategic alignment in all HR messaging. Theresa also served as the training manager and created job skill handbooks for over 200 individual roles across multiple properties. Throughout their career, Theresa has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as employee training and development, recruitment, performance coaching, and labor law compliance.

Theresa Kinkelaar, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master's degree in Leadership from Liberty University Alumni, obtained in 2021. Theresa also pursued a Masters in Organizational Leadership from the University of Denver, and has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their academic achievements, Theresa has obtained various certifications, including Project Management Fundamentals and SharePoint 2013 Essential Training from LinkedIn, SHRM-SCP from SHRM, and Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Theresa also completed the Sales Masters Course offered by The Friedman Group Retail Consulting & Training in 2012.
