Tom Hampshire has a diverse work experience, having co-founded multiple companies in the technology and medical imaging fields. In 2014, they worked as a software engineer while being self-employed. In 2015, they co-founded Gold Standard Phantoms, where they served as the Software Lead and CIO. Additionally, in the same year, they also co-founded Imgenious, a company specializing in designing and manufacturing custom equipment and software for medical imaging applications. At Imgenious, they were involved in mechanical, electronic, and software design and manufacture. Tom continued their work at Gold Standard Phantoms and Imgenious until the present, with their roles spanning across various managerial and technical positions. In 2020, they co-founded Lead Campaign, where they served as a co-founder until early 2022.
Tom Hampshire has a strong educational background in the field of medical imaging and computer science. Tom earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Image Computing from UCL, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Research (MRes) in Medical and Biomedical Imaging from UCL, completing the program from 2009 to 2010.
