Richard Tirrell has a diverse work experience across various companies. Richard is currently the Director of Cybersecurity at Goldbelt Hawk, LLC since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at SimIS from January 2015 to July 2019, where they served as the Chief Enterprise Architect and Program Manager. Before SimIS, Richard worked at Vencore Inc. from July 2014 to January 2015 as a Principal Engineer Certified Enterprise Architect. Richard also had a long tenure at QinetiQ North America from May 2007 to July 2014 as a Principal Engineer Enterprise Architect.

Richard has significant experience and expertise in providing in-depth, data-centric architectures for Marine Corps programs, as well as JCIDS documentation and analysis. Richard is a FEAC DoDAF Certified Enterprise Architect and has hands-on experience in the development of Teamcenter Systems Engineering and Object Oriented database development, storage, and maintenance of architecture artifacts and components.

Before their time in the private sector, Richard served in the USMC from 1984 to 2006. During their time in the USMC, they held roles as an Architecture Professional and a MACCS Officer. Additionally, they worked as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor at MAWTS-1 from August 1994 to June 1998.

Richard Tirrell attended Springfield College and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness. Richard then pursued further education, obtaining a Master's degree in Information Resources Management from Command and General Staff College in 1999 and an MA in Information Management from Webster Vienna Private University in 1999. Richard later attended Naval Postgraduate School from 2002 to 2004, focusing on Information Technology Management.
