Andrew Battin is a molecular scientist at Goldbelt, Incorporated, since October 2020. Previously, Andrew served as a fisheries observer for NOAA from May 2019 to April 2020, collecting data aboard U.S. vessels. Andrew's earlier experience includes working as a farm hand at Hidden Ridge Farm from January 2010 to June 2019, where duties involved operating heavy machinery, hay harvesting, and maintenance tasks. In the summer of 2018, Andrew worked as an oyster harvester for Atlantic Capes Fisheries Inc, focusing on oyster collection and care in Delaware Bay. Before that, Andrew managed an aquatics facility for the Montgomery County Department of Recreation from May 2012 to August 2017, overseeing operations and safety for a large community pool. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland, earned between 2014 and 2018.
