Lauren Bocek is the Human Resources Director, serving as the HR Operations and Talent Acquisition teams lead. She oversees the day-to-day operations and is the escalation point for any issues or concerns from the subsidiaries that the Service Center supports. Lauren is also responsible for compliance across the entire employee life cycle and implementing new programs or processes for HR and Talent Acquisition. She leads a team of 19 employees who support recruiting and HR efforts across the organization and consistently delivers exceptional customer service.
Lauren has over 18 years of experience in HR and an MBA from The George Washington University. She has worked in various industries, including hospitality and non-profit, before joining Goldbelt in February 2018. Lauren loves the variety and challenges of working in HR and everything she has learned since joining the world of government contracting. Lauren lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two sons (ages 6 and 3) but is originally from New Jersey. Lauren can be found on the baseball field with her oldest son, volunteering for the school PTA, or at a local brewery when not at work.
