Golden Apple Foundation
Nancy Northrip has extensive experience in leadership and education, currently serving as Board Chair and a member of the Board of Directors at the Golden Apple Foundation since September 1999. Northrip has also been involved with The Noble Network of Charter Schools as a former board member since 2009 and was the former owner of ULTIMATE Gymnastics of Gurnee, LLC from 1998 until retirement. Additionally, Nancy Northrip has held the position of Director at the Golder Family Foundation since 1988. Educationally, Northrip earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood & Special Education from Illinois State University, following graduation from New Trier East High School.

The Golden Apple Foundation’s mission is to inspire, develop and support teacher and school leader excellence, especially in schools-of-need. Our leading-edge preparation delivers exceptional teachers who make an impact. We help students thrive in the classroom and in life. Since our beginning, we have recognized master educators annually; and, these master educators help prepare the next generation of teachers through both our Golden Apple Scholars (for undergraduates) and Golden Apple Accelerators (for career-changers) programs.
