Dar James

Dar James is an accomplished artist, educator, and creativity coach with extensive experience across multiple roles and organizations. As the owner of Dar James LLC since January 2020, Dar specializes in fine art, design, workshops, and education. Additionally, as a GOLDEN Artist Educator since October 2016, Dar teaches adults about creativity and the properties of GOLDEN’s acrylic paints. With a coaching background from Kaizen-Muse, Dar focuses on helping individuals unlock their creative potential through personalized sessions. Dar also holds a significant track record in presenting educational workshops, having been a prominent speaker at various conferences since 2003. Furthermore, as an author and illustrator at Brown Dog Books since 2002 and a former instructor at the Arts Council of Princeton, Dar has made substantial contributions to the fields of art and education. Academic credentials include a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Secondary Education Certification from Cleveland State University.
