Joe Martinez

Joe Martinez is an experienced sports announcer known for roles in various combat sports and entertainment. Since December 2012, Joe has served as the Octagon Announcer for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Concurrently, Joe has been the Ring Announcer for Golden Boy Promotions and Invicta Fighting Championship since February 2010 and October 2012, respectively. Joe's extensive background includes a tenure as a Public Address Announcer at California State University, Fullerton from February 1997 to December 2017, and a position with the Lake Elsinore Storm Professional Baseball Team from April 1996 to July 2017. Joe also announced for Tachi Palace Fights and World Extreme Cagefighting between 2010 and 2011, and participated as a Public Address Announcer for the Harlem Globetrotters during two US tours from December 2000 to April 2002.
