Vidar Skjong

Vidar Skjong is a seasoned technical manager with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as Technical Manager at Golden Energy Offshore since June 2018, Vidar has held various roles, including Acting Technical Manager and Ship Manager at Farstad Shipping ASA from December 2008 to May 2018, focusing on subsea vessels. Prior experience includes Project Engineer and Customer Support Engineer roles at Rolls-Royce Marine, working on ship design and machinery systems from 2001 to 2008, and serving as Chief Engineer at Odfjell ASA from 1989 to 2001. Vidar has complemented this professional journey with project management specialization courses from BI Norwegian Business School between 2018 and 2019.
