James Adams

James Adams has a diverse work experience with roles at various companies. James started as an Intern Analyst at Franklin Templeton Investments in 2008. James then worked at State Street as a Fund Accountant from 2009 to 2011, and later as a Senior Associate in Corporate Actions from 2011 to 2015. In 2016, they were a Summer Associate in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse. James continued their career at Credit Suisse, becoming a Vice President in Investment Banking from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, they joined WynnBET as an Executive Director in Corporate Finance & Investor Relations, before joining Golden Entertainment, Inc. in 2022 as their Vice President of Finance.

James Adams started their education at St. Ignatius College Preparatory from 2001 to 2005, where they completed their high school education. James then attended the University of California, Davis from 2005 to 2009, majoring in Managerial Economics and earning a Bachelor of Science degree. During their undergraduate studies, they also spent a brief period at the University of Melbourne in 2008, where they pursued a Commerce degree with a focus on Economics and Political Science.

Following their undergraduate education, James joined the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy in 2008 to 2009, where they pursued Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies. After gaining practical experience in the business world, James decided to further their education and pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2015 to 2017. Their MBA specialization was in Corporate Finance and Real Estate.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, James has also obtained a certification in Series 79 through FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), although the specific date of its acquisition is not known.
