Alicia Laury has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alicia is currently the Internal Communications and Engagement Director at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, where they lead internal communications and employee engagement initiatives. Prior to that, they founded Parent with Yoga, a platform that supports kids and parents in navigating challenges. Alicia also co-founded First District Coffee Roasters, a family-run artisan coffee roastery, and worked as the Community Lead at A Balanced Glass, a forum for wine professionals' wellness. Alicia had an extensive career at Constellation Brands, where they held various roles including Corporate Communications Director and Marketing Manager. In addition, Alicia worked at Kaplow Communications as a Senior Account Supervisor, Teuwen Communications as a New Business Manager/Senior Account Executive, FitzGerald Communications as an Assistant Account Executive, and Gameloft as a Marketing Communications Coordinator.

Alicia Laury completed their undergraduate education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1995 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Thought & Political Economy, with a focus on Communication. Additionally, they received a 200hr RYT certification in Yoga & Meditation from SriYoga/Yoga Alliance. Alicia is currently pursuing a 95hr CRYT certification in Children's Yoga & Mindfulness from Little Flower Yoga. From 2018 to 2020, they participated in the Living Ayurveda Program & Body Thrive Program at Yoga Healer with Cate Stillman. In terms of culinary education, Alicia attended the Institute of Culinary Education in 2002, where they obtained a Culinary Arts degree. Alicia also underwent an apprenticeship at Blue Hill restaurant in 2003. Alicia has completed the Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3) certifications from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). Furthermore, they completed an internship at the Feminist Majority Foundation in 1998.
