Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Currently, Chris is involved in creating hardware for DViT (Digital Vision Touch) interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies, where Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools, and an electronics contractor position at Science Alberta Foundation, responsible for designing and repairing educational devices. Earlier experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary involved supporting labs and assessments for electronic circuit courses. Chris also contributed to developing control systems for forestry harvester units at Grindcom as an electronics engineer. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
