Rodd Marcum, MD, MPH, FACP, FACOEM, currently serves as a Primary Care Physician at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System since December 2022, contributing to the Patient Aligned Care Team. In addition, Rodd Marcum holds the position of Vice President of Veterans Affairs, Clinical Supervision & Strategy at the Golden Health Initiative, focusing on extending healthcare into the community since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Command Surgeon for the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) from July 2019 to June 2022 and holding various leadership roles at Madigan Army Medical Center from July 2010 to June 2019, including Department Chair of Preventive Medicine. Rodd Marcum also served as Senior Flight Surgeon/Clinic Director for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) from July 2005 to July 2010. Rodd Marcum’s educational background includes a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington and a Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, complemented by a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Oregon State University.
