James Hanse is an experienced professional in the natural gas and energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Trading and Director of Supply Optimization at Golden Pass LNG since August 2020. Prior to this role, James held positions at Tellurian Inc. as VP of Gas Supply and Optimization, where oversight of the gas supply strategy for the Driftwood LNG terminal was a key responsibility. James also worked at Crestwood Midstream Partners LP as Vice President of Asset Optimization & Strategy, managing asset optimization and hub services. Additional experience includes significant roles at BG Group directing financial trading and storage optimization, and at Duke Energy Corporation in various financial trading positions. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Studies and Economics from Rice University.
