Manuel Carballo

Manuel Carballo is an experienced mechanical engineer with a comprehensive background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Mechanical Lead at Golden Pass LNG since January 2021, Carballo oversees the detail design engineering, fabrication, and commissioning support of various mechanical packages. Prior to this role, Carballo spent over 21 years at ExxonMobil, where responsibilities included serving as the Global Equipment Engineering Advisor, Pipeline Engineering Lead, and Facilities Engineering Supervisor, providing expertise in fixed equipment design and troubleshooting for upstream projects. Carballo's educational foundation includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica 'Antonio José de Sucre', completed in 1999.
