Amber Meriwether

Amber Meriwether is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors. Currently serving as the Corporate Strategy leader at Astellas Pharma since December 2014, Amber has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Global Category Lead in Research Procurement and Associate Director of R&D Procurement for Japan. In addition to this role, Amber is the Managing Director and Boston Chapter Chair of Golden Seeds, an investment group focused on funding early-stage, women-led companies. Previously, Amber worked at the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center, where responsibilities included managing clinical research operations in Radiation Oncology. Amber holds multiple degrees, including a BA in Anthropology from the University of Chicago, a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School, an MA in Medical Humanities and Bioethics from Northwestern University, and a Certificate in Clinical Trials Management and Regulatory Compliance from the University of Chicago.
