Janet S. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of artificial intelligence and speech technology. Currently serving as Managing Director at Golden Seeds, Janet has held significant positions at Amazon, including Director of Research Science for Amazon Alexa AI, Senior Manager of the Applied Modeling and Data Science Team, and Research Manager focused on Speech and Language Data. Prior to Amazon, Janet worked as a Senior Speech Scientist at Vlingo and as a Principal Investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital. Additionally, Janet contributed to the field as a Speech Scientist at Eliza Corporation. Janet holds a PhD from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, earned between 1994 and 2000, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
