Assistant Coach at Golden State Warriors

Bruce Fraser begins his seventh season on the Golden State Warriors coaching staff, helping the Warriors earn five consecutive NBA Finals appearances and three NBA Championships (2014-15, 2016-17 & 2017-18) during his first six seasons. In his role as an assistant coach, he oversees all aspects of the players’ skill and strategic development, and also prepares team and player scouting reports for upcoming opponents.

Fraser, 56, coached at both the college and professional levels prior to joining the Warriors, having worked at the University of Arizona under Lute Olson (1987-90), the University of Missouri under Quin Snyder (1999-2000) and the Indiana Pacers under Larry Brown (1994-95). Additionally, he served as a scout for the Phoenix Suns from 2004-10. The Long Beach, Calif., native was a teammate of Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr at the University of Arizona, where Fraser played from 1983-87.
