Koma Fenton, CISSP, PMP, serves as the Cyber Security & Compliance Officer at Golden Valley Electric Association since May 2020, after a long tenure at AlasConnect LLC from June 2006 to May 2020, where various roles in business development, project management, and operations were held. Koma has extensive experience in managing commercial accounts, customer relationships, and IT support, as demonstrated in previous positions at Golden Valley Electric Association, Banner Health, Baker & Associates, Inc., and the Law Office of Thomas E. Fenton. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Journalism & Marketing, along with two Associate’s Degrees in Information Technology and Arts from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
