Maria Rosales

Maria Rosales, M.Ed., PPS, is a dedicated educational professional currently serving as a School Counselor at the San Joaquin County Office of Education since September 2024. With extensive experience in supporting diverse student populations, Maria has held significant roles such as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Golden Valley Health Centers and Program Advisor positions at the Merced County Office of Education, focusing on early learning workforce development and parent engagement. Previously, Maria contributed to student success at the University of California, Merced, as Associate Director of Residence Education and through counseling in the Fiat Lux Scholars Program. Maria's background also includes management of school health services at Livingston Community Health and leadership roles in family resource centers and job development programs. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from California State University, Stanislaus, along with various certifications in mental health, parent leadership training, and positive discipline.
