Daniel Montanez

Daniel Montanez has extensive work experience in various roles within the operations and supply chain fields. In their most recent position as the Director of Operations at Golden West Food Group, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills. Prior to that, they worked at Smithfield Foods, where they held multiple roles, including Assistant Plant Manager, Operations Manager, and Operations Superintendent. Daniel's previous experience includes working as an Industrial Engineer at Farmer John - Clougherty Packing, LLC, and as a Supply Chain Research Intern at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA). Daniel also gained valuable experience as a Supply Chain Corporate Intern at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Royce Instruments, Inc. and completed internships at the US Department of Homeland Security and the US Department of Transportation.

Daniel Montanez earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering at UC Santa Barbara from 2010 to 2012, and at Napa Valley College from 2008 to 2010.
