Akash Rughani

Akash Rughani, CFA, has extensive experience in performance analytics and quantitative analysis within the asset management industry. Currently employed at GoldenTree Asset Management since June 2016, Akash specializes in performance analytics. Prior to this role, a tenure at Western Asset Management from April 2010 to June 2016 involved conducting quantitative analysis on global fixed income portfolios, benchmarks, and markets. Early career experiences include summer analyst and intern positions at Deutsche Bank, focusing on credit and interest rate derivative operations as well as equity derivative operations. Educationally, Akash obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics from the University of York between 2006 and 2009, and participated as a visiting researcher at the University of East Anglia in 2005.
