Silvia Couret

Silvia Couret began their career in 2010 as a Summer Intern at Herbert Smith Freehills. Silvia continued to intern at various companies including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Lombard Odier Group. In 2012, they became a Trainee Lawyer in M&A at Herbert Smith Freehills, and the following year, they transitioned to the role of Associate in Finance at the same company. Couret joined GoldenTree Asset Management in 2018 as Legal Counsel and later served as an Associate General Counsel. Currently, they hold the position of Director and Senior Counsel at GoldenTree Asset Management.

Silvia Couret attended the IEB from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. During the same period, they also pursued a Master's degree in Capital markets at IEB. Prior to IEB, Silvia attended the Lycée Français de Madrid from 1991 to 2004.
