Eugene (Gene) Benton Jr.

Eugene (Gene) Benton Jr. has extensive work experience in facilities management and construction coordination. Eugene (Gene) is currently the Principal Owner of Encompass Enterprises LLC. Prior to this, they served as the BUILDER Senior Program Manager and Director of Sustainment Programs at GoldenWolf, LLC. Before that, Gene was the President of Building Maintenance Services (BMS) and the Vice President of Operations at Surface Logic. Earlier in their career, they held various managerial positions at Sodexo, The Asbury Group, Asbury Solomons Island, Epworth Manor, and Tyrone Hospital. Gene has expertise in overseeing facilities, housekeeping, laundry, and fleet departments, managing budgets, coordinating construction projects, and developing and implementing facilities management offerings.

Eugene (Gene) Benton Jr. received a Bachelor's degree in Occupation Health and Safety from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include: Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) from the American Hospital Association in May 2018, Universal Refrigeration Handling License from the Refrigeration Environmental Protection Association, Inc. in September 2009, Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) from the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers in January 1996, and Certified Hazard Control Manager (CHCM) from the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers in January 1995.
