Lydia Camarillo

Lydia Camarillo has extensive experience in media and community relations, currently serving in the Community/Media Relations role at Golder Ranch Fire District since December 2022. Prior to this position, Lydia was the Morning Anchor at KGUN-TV 9 On Your Side from January 2020 to January 2023 and worked as the Morning & Noon Anchor/Reporter at KOLD News 13 from 2012 to 2019. Lydia's early career includes various roles such as an Audio Visual Clerk at BLM Land Management, a Multimedia Reporter at Cronkite News, and an On-camera Spokesperson at McKinnon Dunford Media. Lydia has also gained practical experience through internships at KTAR 92.3 FM, KTVK, KPHO CBS, and a volunteer position at Newswatch during the studies at Arizona State University. Lydia holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts from Central Arizona College.
