David Chu

David Chu is a highly experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Golder, where since January 2020, David has applied advanced analytical skills to large-scale infrastructure projects in Singapore's transport sector, focusing on complex tunneling and excavation designs. Prior to this role, David worked as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Geotechnical Consulting Group, specializing in numerical analyses of soil-structure interactions. David began their career at GHD, contributing to a diverse range of projects in various sectors following a comprehensive consultant development program. David’s foundational experience includes a brief tenure as an Undergraduate Civil Engineer with Murrindindi Shire Council, coupled with strong academic credentials, including a Master’s Degree in Soil Mechanics from Imperial College London and dual degrees in Civil Engineering, Management, and Finance from The University of Melbourne and The University of Hong Kong.
