Sean Hopkins

Sean Hopkins has extensive experience in operations and project management within the underground construction sector. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Shafts and Tunnels Consulting Services since December 2022, Sean previously held the role of Operations Director for Shafts and Tunnels at Golder since November 2017. Prior to that, Sean was Operations Director at Alan Auld Engineering Ltd, overseeing numerous shaft projects such as the Scissors Creek, Cory, Vanscoy, Allan, and Penobsquis shafts. Sean's career began in the late 1990s, with positions as Shaft Technician and Shaft Technical Coordinator at various companies, including Graham Mining, DMC Mining Services, and Redpath Group. Sean's educational background includes studies at Haileybury School of Mines and ongoing education at Cranfield School of Management.
