Keith Parnell

Keith Parnell has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Keith is currently working as the General Counsel at Goldilock since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Advisor for US & Canada Operations at the same company from September 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Goldilock, Keith worked at Harmony ADR Services as an Attorney, Mediator, Arbitrator, Facilitator, and Neutral since November 2010.

Keith also served as the Senior Director of US Property Acquisition at WDBA-APWD from June 2017 to April 2019. Prior to this, Keith worked at MacKenzie Partners, Inc. as the Managing Director for European Operations from April 2008 to October 2010.

Keith is the Principal of Parnell Advisory Group, their own firm, which they started in November 2007 and continued until March 2008. Before that, they worked as Of Counsel in the Business Services Group at Bayard, P.A. from April 2006 to October 2007.

From April 2001 to April 2006, Keith served as the Lead Director and Company Secretary at Sigma Finance Corporation (Gordian Knot managed SIV). Keith was also a Partner at Turner & Roulstone LLP from May 2004 to October 2005.

Keith has experience in founding a company as well. Keith was a Founding Partner at Etica Management Corporation from October 2003 to May 2004.

In addition to their legal and management roles, Keith has also worked in the financial industry. Keith was the SVP and Head of Group, Deputy MLRO & Alternative Compliance Officer at MaplesFS from October 2000 to September 2003.

Keith Parnell has a strong educational background in law. In 1990, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from McGill University, graduating with Great Distinction. Keith then pursued their Juris Doctor degree at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, starting in 1991 and completing it in 1994.

Following this, Keith participated in an exchange program and earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Keith Parnell has also obtained several certifications in various fields. In 1995, they became an Attorney in New York State through the New York State Unified Court System. Keith went on to become a Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario in 1996 through The Law Society of Upper Canada. Keith additionally holds the title of Solicitor in the United Kingdom, granted by the Law Society of England & Wales in 1999.

Keith has obtained various other certifications throughout their career, including becoming a Licensed Private Investigator in 2011 through the Office of Occupations and Professions - KY. Keith also holds a Basic Mediation Training Certification of 40 hours from Fowler Mediation, obtained in August 2016, and a Certified Financial Crime Specialist designation from the Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists, acquired in December 2015. Moreover, they hold a Registered Securities Representative (UK) certification obtained through the Securities and Futures Authority Limited (UK) in September 1999.
