Woodie Dixon

Woodie Dixon, Jr. currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer for the Golden State Warriors, a position held since September 2025. Previously, Woodie held the role of Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Chegg Inc. from September 2020 to August 2025. Woodie also served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Business Affairs for the Pac-12 Conference from April 2010 to August 2020, and as General Counsel and Director of Player Compensation for the Kansas City Chiefs from August 2004 to April 2010. Prior experience includes a position with the NFL Management Council and roles as an attorney at Sidley Austin and Dorsey & Whitney LLP. Woodie earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, a Bachelor’s degree in History from Amherst College, and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.
