Achal Sakaria

Achal Sakaria is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive experience in the real estate and lodging sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs since September 2018, Achal previously held the position of Director at Citi from August 2011 to August 2018. Achal's career at Citi also includes roles as Vice President and Associate in real estate and lodging investment banking, along with a brief tenure as a Summer Associate. Prior to entering investment banking, Achal worked as a Staff Scientist at SAIC from May 2005 to July 2009. Educationally, Achal earned an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from Columbia Business School and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, respectively, from Georgia Institute of Technology.
