Gaurav Anand

Gaurav Anand serves as the Head of Fraud Risk and Dispute Strategy for Goldman Sachs in Asset and Wealth Management since November 2021, where responsibilities include managing the end-to-end fraud risk strategy for proprietary consumer savings and investment products. Prior to this role, Gaurav held various positions at American Express from March 2011 to November 2021, including Vice President of Consumer Money Movement Fraud Risk Strategy and Senior Data Scientist in Global Fraud Risk Decision Science. Gaurav's experience encompasses leading teams in machine learning, data science, and fraud risk strategy, with a focus on developing scalable models and data-driven strategies to enhance customer experience and mitigate risk. Earlier career experiences include working as a Manager in the Business Intelligence Unit at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company and an entry-level data scientist role at American Express. Gaurav holds a B Tech and M Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
