George Pampalis

George Pampalis is a skilled finance professional with a diverse background in systematic trading, quantitative analysis, and risk consulting. Currently serving as a Product Developer in the Systematic Trading Strategies team at Goldman Sachs since January 2022, George previously completed a Quant Trader Internship at BNP Paribas. Experience also includes a lead consultancy role at Thalesians Marine Ltd as a Data Scientist, and participation in significant consulting projects for the Risk & Regulation Banking team at PwC Greece. Earlier roles include military service as a Combat Engineer with the National Guard of Cyprus and internships at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company and Respi, focusing on process optimization and mechanical design, respectively. George holds an MSc in Finance from Imperial College London and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
