Martyna Pyrek

Martyna Pyrek is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and governance, currently serving as Director of Vendor Technology Risk in Third Party Risk at Goldman Sachs since March 2024. Prior to this role, Pyrek held various leadership positions at HSBC from April 2013 to June 2023, including Chief Control Officer for Digital Business Services in HSBC UK, where risk reviews and regulatory project management were key responsibilities. Additionally, Pyrek served as Global Head of Controls within the Procurement Chief Control Office, Chief Control Officer for the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey, and Business Risk and Control Manager across Germany and Luxembourg, focusing on compliance and risk oversight. Early career experiences include roles at KPMG Tax & Advisory, the South Asian Federation of Exchanges, and BNP Paribas, following a Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
