Melanie Waitzer

Melanie Waitzer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in wealth management and development. As a Summer Associate and Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs, Melanie focused on Private Wealth Management in 2022. Prior to this, Melanie served as the Interim Director of Legacy Giving at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta from August 2017 to July 2021, where leadership of the Gift Planning program was conducted. In the same organization, Melanie also worked as a Development Officer for Major and Legacy Giving, managing a donor portfolio that generated over $2.5 million in annual philanthropic revenue. Earlier roles included Director of Alumni Relations at Isidore Newman School and positions at the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans, including Assistant Director of Development and Next Gen. Melanie holds an MBA in Finance from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tulane University.
