Nina W.

Nina W. is a highly experienced Quantitative Strategist at Goldman Sachs, where employment began in July 2021, following a role as a Summer Associate at the same company in mid-2020. Prior to this, Nina co-founded and served as President of the Fusheng Theatre Troupe at UC San Diego from September 2018 to June 2021 and was an active Consultant Member in the APD Consulting Club during the same timeframe. Notably, Nina secured 1st place in the IXL Innovation Olympics while at the IXL Center in late 2019 and gained research experience as a Research Scientist Intern at FM Global in summer 2019. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Vice Chair of the Graduate Division for the Chinese Students and Scholars Association at UC San Diego and Vice President of the Student Union of the School of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Science and Technology of China. Nina holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from UC San Diego and has academic roots from both the University of Science and Technology of China and Beijing No.4 High School.
