Philip Salem

Philip Salem is currently a Partner Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where the focus is on advising insurance companies on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, capital raising, and risk management since July 2001. In addition to this role, Philip serves as a Board Member at Cristo Rey New York High School, which aims to provide quality college-preparatory education for students from low-income families since July 2021. Previously, from August 1996 to June 1999, Philip worked as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, advising power and gas utilities on strategy, M&A alternatives, and merger integration. Philip holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, obtained between 1999 and 2001, and a Bachelor of Engineering with a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Management of Technology from Vanderbilt University, earned from 1992 to 1996.
