Timo Skytta

Timo Skytta is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in security, privacy, and technology strategy across multiple leading organizations. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Advisory (Security) at Goldman Sachs since August 2020, Timo previously held significant roles including Vice President of Security at both Verizon Media and Oath, and Chief Security Officer at HERE, where Timo managed comprehensive security programs and privacy initiatives. Timo’s career includes a long tenure at Nokia, where Timo served in various director-level positions overseeing security, privacy, and continuity across different units, along with key roles in standardization initiatives in internet identity at the Liberty Alliance Project. Early in Timo’s career, experience was gained at Cisco and IBM, contributing to technical leadership and product engineering. Timo holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Oulu Technical Institute.
