Vikas Kansal

Vikas Kansal has over 25 years of work experience in the electrical industry. Vikas is currently the Business Unit Head Lighting at Goldmedal Electricals Pvt. Ltd. Since joining in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Havells India Ltd for 13 years, where they held the position of Sr. General Manager from December 2007 to September 2020. Vikas also worked at Pierlite India Pvt. Ltd. as the Regional Manager North from February 2006 to November 2007. Vikas'searly career was at Crompton Greaves, where they served as Deputy Manager Marketing from December 1996 to February 2006.

Vikas Kansal pursued their Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University from 1991 to 1995. After completing their undergraduate studies, they decided to further enhance their skills and knowledge by enrolling in the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta's SMP04 program in 2008. This program awarded him an MBA degree and allowed him to gain expertise in the field of business and management. In 2021, Vikas Kansal attended the Indian School of Business, where they focused on Digital Marketing & Analytics. This short-term program provided him with insights into various aspects of business, management, marketing, and related support services.
