Gretchen Doering is an experienced educator and program manager with a focus on environmental and culinary education. Currently serving as a Garden Teacher and Farm & Office Manager at Golestan Kids since August 2020, Gretchen has also held multiple roles that emphasize garden and cooking education, including Seed to Table Director at Alameda Boys & Girls Club and various facilitator positions at Nea Community Learning Center and Alameda Community Learning Center. With a background that features hands-on curriculum development, volunteer coordination, and community engagement, Gretchen's previous experiences include operations development at Square Food Foundation and serving as a youth garden programs coordinator with Marion-Polk Food Share.
