Lauren Waelend

Lauren Waelend has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent positions include serving as the Head of People & Culture at Golf Australia and PGA of Australia since October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Registered Nurse at Healthscope from February 2019 to May 2023. Lauren also held roles such as General Manager, HR Operations at TLC Healthcare from March 2022 to July 2022, and Senior People & Culture Business Partner at Regis Aged Care from July 2021 to March 2022. Before transitioning to the healthcare field, Lauren worked in the human resources domain. Notably, they served as the Human Resources Operations Manager/HR Business Partner Asia Pacific at Lockheed Martin Australia Pty Ltd from February 2015 to August 2016 and as a Graduate Program Manager at ANZ from July 2008 to December 2010. Lauren Waelend completed a Certificate in Personnel Practice from Cullen Scholfield in 2005. In 2006, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources from Deakin University, which they completed in 2008. From 2016 to 2018, Lauren attended Deakin University again, this time pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing (Clinical Leadership). In 2022, they enrolled in Plenty Training and obtained a TAE40116 Cert IV in Training & Assessment in 2023.
