Shannon Nelson currently serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Western Region and Canada at Golin, a leading public relations firm recognized as Provoke Media's North American Agency of the Year in 2022. Nelson has an extensive background in human resources, having previously held roles such as Vice President of Human Resources & Talent at Big Picture Group and HR Business Partner for multiple regions at Millward Brown. Additionally, Nelson contributed as an Ally Mentor for the #HIREBLACK Initiative, which aims to support the advancement of Black womxn in the workforce. Education includes dual BFA degrees in Acting and Theatre from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
