Cindy Akers

Cindy Akers has over 35 years of work experience in the media industry. Cindy began their career in 1986 as a Senior Media Buyer at BBD&O Chicago. In 1992, they moved to Ketchum Communications where they served as a Media Supervisor. In 1995, they were promoted to Associate Media Director at Bates USA. In 2007, Akers was hired as Director of Media at Plus Media Group. One year later, they joined Pinnacle Advertising as an Associate Media Director. In 2012, they moved to Empire Today as a Senior Media Buyer and they currently hold the same role at GOLO, LLC since 2022.

Cindy Akers received their Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Advertising from Western Illinois University.
