Cecil Hall has a strong background in corporate and securities law, with experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate counseling, and legal compliance. Cecil began their career as a Research Associate at Discovery Communications, where they conducted quantitative analysis and provided strategic recommendations for programming and marketing efforts. Cecil then transitioned to the legal field and joined Mayer Brown as an Associate, specializing in corporate and securities law. Cecil represented clients in various transactional matters and worked on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. After five years at Mayer Brown, Cecil joined BMO Financial Group as a Senior Counsel & Vice President, where they focused on legal, corporate, and compliance matters. Currently, Cecil holds the position of Senior Counsel at Golub Capital, where they continue to utilize their legal expertise.
Cecil Hall pursued their higher education, starting from 1998 to 2003, at North Carolina State University. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2008 to 2011, Cecil attended Harvard Law School. At Harvard, they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
