Chris Born

Chris Born, CFA has extensive work experience in sales and trading roles.

Chris started their career at Credit Suisse in 2007, where they initially worked as an Analyst before transitioning to the role of High Yield Sales. In this position, Chris was responsible for managing a book of Institutional clients involved with Par and Distressed Leveraged Loans. Chris acted as the main point of contact for a diverse array of accounts, including CLOs, Hedge Funds, BDCs, and Mutual Funds. Chris'sday-to-day activities included helping clients navigate market fluctuations, executing trades, pitching trade ideas, and marketing new primary transactions.

In 2010, Chris transitioned to the role of Leveraged Loan Sales, where they continued their responsibilities of managing client relationships and facilitating trades. Chris held this position until 2015.

In 2016, Chris joined Golub Capital as Vice President of Sales & Trading. Chris was later promoted to Senior Vice President in 2019 and then to Principal in 2021.

Chris Born, CFA graduated from Cornell University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Economics and Management. In 2014, they obtained the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification from the CFA Institute.
