Shawne Pierson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Shawne started their career at HSBC in 2002, where they held various roles such as Senior Business Architect, Senior Manager - Business Systems, and Senior Manager - IT Engineering, Infrastructure & Security. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing infrastructure architecture, technology solutions, operational processes, and technology policies. Shawne also directed global teams and provided leadership in Solutions Architecture, Configuration Management, and Application Performance Management. Pierson's tenure at HSBC ended in 2016.

In 2017, Pierson joined Leapfrog Online as a Director - Data Architecture, where they led the data architecture team and contributed to the execution of project engagements. Shawne left the company in 2017.

From 2018 to 2019, Pierson worked as a Data Architect at Motorola Solutions, where they focused on designing solutions and governance standards aligned with business goals.

Pierson's most recent position is at Golub Capital, where they joined as Vice President, Enterprise Data & Reporting in July 2019. Later on, they were promoted to Vice President, Application Development in November 2019 and is currently serving as an Associate Director in the same department.

Shawne Pierson holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Illinois State University. Shawne then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Global Business from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Additionally, Shawne completed a Certificate in Big Data using Hadoop Program from DePaul University.

Furthermore, Shawne has engaged in various online certifications to enhance their expertise. Shawne obtained certificates in Practical Machine Learning, Regression Models, Statistical Inference, Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox through Coursera Course Certificates.
