Peter Fair

Peter Fair has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Peter started their career as a Consultant/Advisor at Mohr Davidow Ventures, where they provided strategic and business development consulting to a healthcare IT portfolio company. Peter then joined Velocity Financial Group as a Partner, specializing in providing senior and subordinated notes to venture-backed companies. During their time there, they played a significant role in fundraising efforts and structured a joint-venture with a prominent family office. In 2011, they and their colleagues were acquired by NXT Capital to establish NXT Capital Venture Finance, where they served as a Managing Director. Peter executed debt investments into various technology and healthcare companies before leaving in 2014. Fair then became the Managing Partner at Barton Capital Partners LLC for a year. From 2014 to present, they have held the position of Managing Director at Golub Capital, specifically working with Golub Growth to provide capital solutions for venture-backed, growth-stage B2B SaaS companies. Additionally, Fair has served as a Board Observer at various companies including Filevine, Kareo, Impartner Software, Valant, and BROWZ.

Peter Fair obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University from 1989 to 1993. Peter later pursued further education at The Wharton School, where they completed their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in the field of Private Equity/Entrepreneurship from 1999 to 2001.
