Vernon Baca

Vernon Baca has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Vernon currently works at Olo as the Director of Product Management. Prior to this, they worked at ezCater as a Group Product Manager, where they developed and led the strategic vision and execution of the marketplace's roadmap. Vernon also explored new use cases and expanded revenue growth, shipping concierge order offerings to high-value customers.

Before ezCater, Vernon was the Director of Product Management at OrthoFi, where they established and led the department, recruited and trained teams, and supported core application development. Vernon also served as a Product Management Staff, managing project delivery and rollout, coordinating sprint cycles, and overseeing release planning activities.

In addition, Vernon has worked as a Management Consultant at The Lab Consulting, where they updated Anti-Money Laundering processes for a Banking client. Vernon also worked as an Independent Management Consultant and provided consulting services to OrthoFi as an Ortho Success Lead, developing growth strategies and implementing technology frameworks.

Earlier in their career, Vernon worked for Newmont Mining Corporation, facilitating risk management for major capital projects, and at Slalom Consulting as a Consultant, coordinating the development of a management operating system for project execution. Vernon also worked as a Release Test Lead at Accenture and as a Production Engineering Intern at ConocoPhillips.

Vernon Baca obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Denver, completing this degree from 2014 to 2016.
