Jim Higby

Jim Higby currently serves as the Lead of Safety and Compliance Strategy at Motive since November 2023. Previously, Jim held the position of Senior Director of Safety at Hogan Transports Inc. from June 2018 to November 2023, overseeing corporate safety functions and compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations. Prior roles include Senior Safety Director at Roadrunner Transportation Systems, where responsibilities encompassed accident prevention and compliance across 29 terminals, and Area Safety Manager at Republic Services Inc., managing safety programs across multiple sites. An experienced safety professional, Jim began their career at FedEx Express as a Senior Safety Specialist and was also the Region Safety, Health, and Quality Manager at Ryder System, Inc. Jim holds a Master of Science in Aviation Safety and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology from the University of Central Missouri.
