Zachary Gorchow

Zach Gorchow is an experienced journalist and leader, currently serving as President of Gongwer News Service Michigan since August 2009, where responsibilities include managing Michigan operations and contributing to overall operations in Michigan and Ohio. Prior roles at Gongwer include Executive Editor and Publisher, overseeing coverage of the governor's office, and Editor, leading reporting on various state departments. Zach has also worked as a Staff Writer for the Detroit Free Press, covering Wayne County government and Detroit city hall, and previously reported on the Michigan House of Representatives and Redford Township. Zach holds a degree in International Relations from Michigan State University.
